There are many ways you can support SOMRA and the cause for zero waste.
How to Volunteer

SOMRA is always looking for like-minded people who want to join their mission to reduce waste and promote the zero-waste message and develop circular economy initiatives in the Rogue Valley.
SOMRA and its Lend Me A Plate (LMAP) program are built entirely on the efforts of volunteers and the support of Ashland and Talent communities and sponsors. Volunteer hosts for LMAP are asked to be available for one month a year to receive requests, answer questions and to fill requests for pick up at the Recycling Center on Water Street in Ashland.
If you are looking for ways to connect with others, build community and give back by becoming a SOMRA member and volunteer, please reach out to us at Contact SOMRA. Our volunteer coordinator will be in touch to explain the duties and discuss opportunities to support zero waste in our community! Thank you for your interest!
